Anyone know if any beta ketone para-halogen amphetamine analogues have been made or tried?

Fluoro-methcathinone for example?

Yes, para-fluoro-methcathinone has been made and tried by both The Hive- and Hyperlab-members and were reported as more or less totally inactive in dosages up to several hundres of mg/1g. I wonder why, it is interesting since also para-fluoro analog of 4-MAR seems to lack any effects.

^Interesting & strange as that means the tert-butyl group on bupropion may turn out to be essential (?)

Don't remember the 4-F-MethCath info, would have expected that one to be active as F is good H mimic (?) although not surprised it isn't active I guess.

Might be stating the obvious, but I'm pretty sure the chloro group in bupropion is meta to the side chain, not para.

Having actually come across p-F 4MAR, I wouldn't call it inactive by any stretch of the imagination; weird yes, but def active (weird enough such that it wasnm't really something to persue).

Yeah, the chloro group in bupropion is meta orientated to the side chain. A para chloro might just produce a methcathinone derivative that toxic, like it's closely related methamphetamine derivative

^ah yes I was remembering my bupropion molecule wrong, meta. yep.

What wierd effects did p-F-Methcath produce? Did it affect blood pressure in a bad way?
