Opioids Flashes of heat for a second from oxy high?

Took 15mg of oxy about an hour ago, and after a few minutes i started getting flashes of warmth starting from my head that would go across my whole body (but it was like in waves, lasting only a second each), getting more and more intense. Oddly it was enjoyable though, but when I looked it up on google I couldn't find anything about it? Is this a normal effect of opiates?
 
Waves of warmth are to be expected with oxycodone. The fact that it happened mere minutes after ingestion suggest placebo effect, though.

rectally administered, and it was about 10 minutes after i'd say.
 
okay sweet lol, they only lasted about 30 minutes though. and then I already feel like i'm at the end of the high :(
 
Thirty minutes? That's all?

Good to know. I've never plugged oxy, but when I dose orally I'm buzzed for a good five hours.
 
yea i'm taking that into consideration too, yesterday a bunch of people on a different thread noted that plugging oxycodone was amazing and superior to oral and nasal use, this is making me think twice about it

then again can't hurt to try it. unless it kills me from me being dumb enough to shove drugs in my ass with crohn's disease.. in which case maybe it can 8)
 
i decided to crush up another 5mg and just snort it, cause i couldn't be arsed to plug again.

This quickly brought back the waves of heat, feels really nice. feeling really nice atm :)

oh and please no crying about the fact that redosing isn't worth it etc etc. I know that.
 
Ha, yeah. Its why when I use I only do it from 7pm onwards, then I won't redose because by the time I need to I see it as a waste. I think it's a good rule to have!
 
it's a good thing to that i happen to stumble across two, 40mg original format oxy's. Tryna kick a coke habit atm, every weekend after using I just feel really crappy and anxiety filled and like it was not at all worth using, but by mid week i'm already craving hard and end up grabbing again anyways.

Got the oxys as a gift from someone who can't get them again either, and this way next weekend i'm not even gonna drink or party, just gonna kill the coke craving with a nice chill 20mg oxy high. Only once, either on friday or saturday, and I'll do that the following weekend to, and then the follow after that. (cause i got 60mg left, enough for 3x more uses at 20mg) No alcohol, no partying, just relaxing and hopefully after a few weeks without coke the major psychological cravings I get will be gone or much weaker.

I've been seeing it developing through your posts and threads and it was somewhat of a concern to me. I know how it is man, I'm going through the same thing.

Yea man, it's a disgusting filthy filthy drug. The ups and downs are like riding a roller coaster from hell.
