fizzes when mecke reagent is put on pill????

I got a few pills that are in caps and when I put the mecke reagent on a scraping it started to fizz up and then turned black, This is the first time it has happened to me, is this something the pill could be cut with?

im pretty sure that means your pills are DXM witch isnt good because you wanted MDMA. Get rid of them anymeans possible.

oshcharl: what have you based that opinion on? sure you are confusing it with a Marquis reaction? This person is talking about a Mecke reaction, totally different kit.

As for the black reaction, that doesn't sound good at all. MDxx should go green/blue with Mecke. Probably best to throw them if you are in any doubt.

yes the Mecke tests says if it changes from green-blue-black you have ecstacy. what did u mean when u said fizzes up. how many mg is in the caps.

The DXM reaction is typically slower, with about a five-second delay before it begins to change slowly from gray to black. An ecstasy-like substance will usually begin changing color immediately, sometimes even bubbling and fizzing in the beginning (which usually happens with pure powder in gel caps). However, this is not always the case.

The pill fizzed and bubbled up for about 3 seconds, then was dark purple/black, It was in a 150mg gel cap and the simons reagent turned green which I assume is mda or mde.
