anyone fish?

i had started fly-fishing, would use worm feathers in the lakes, and eels or night-crawlers flies in the bay.

would use an 8' 3 piece pole, and a heavy okuma fly real, i forget the specs but im sure it would of taken 20-35lb beasties..!


never landed anything with that.

plenty with a spin reel etc,.
3-8lb pink and coho salmon, a few nice trout i shouldnt of actually, but did LAY back.
using pink "buzz-bomb" lures mostly, or bait fish.

Not for a few months, but now that its summer I'll probably start up again. Last time I fished was the first day of trout season, the bait really depended on where you were fishing at the lake. But rainbow sherbert and olive something worked really great. I used those little red 4 prong hooks. Ended up getting like, 2 trout which is great for me. The people next to me got 10 in a few hours.
 
I just went fishing and I have eaten fresh trout the past two weekends.
Last Sunday was absolutely crazy, I probably caught 30 fish in 6 hours, ended up taking home 2 for a meal.
Wasn't quite as good yesterday, but i still took home 3 fish for a good meal.

I just started a great job like 3 months ago so I went a little crazy and bought all Orvis fly stuff - 4 piece carbon pole with a nice disk reel, no waders though. I just take my pants off and walk around in my sandals usually.

Damn you, I haven't eaten yet and there is no fish in my house. I need to go salmon fishing soon. Fresh salmon, without a doubt, is the best seafood on the face of the planet.
