First Timer - Pharmahuasca, what to expect?

Gonna be trying out pharmahuasca this weekend with some friends, what is to be expected? Got any tips? From what I've gathered one would take 3.5g of syrian rue extract and 45 mins later 50-100mg of dmt, is this accurate/correct?

This is not a trip report per se. What is the potency of the rue extract?

It all depends on whether 3.5g of the rue extract you've got will be enough MAOI. That's the trouble with rue and caapi - you never really know the potency of them.

If the rue isn't enough then you'll barely feel anything. I'd recomend 300mg tablet of moclobemide instead.

A few pointers:

1) Mix the DMT freebase in coca-cola. This forms the DMT phosphate salt which is a bit less nauseating. Also take 5-10 drops of essence of lemon oil to deactive your nausea receptors.

2) About 20 minutes after dropping the DMT you should start feeling something very powerful coming on. If you can't feel anything after 30 minutes or so then try eating something like a mouthful of buttered toast - this helps the DMT kick in.

3) You may need to throw up as the DMT comes on. Try not to throw up for 30-60 minutes if you can help it. Lay still. Don't move around.

100mg isn't the biggest dose of DMT - how experienced are you with psychedelics? Ever taken high dose mushrooms/acid? If so I'd try closer to 200mg.
