Hey everybody. I've been doing two or three perc 30s a week, usually on the weekends for a few months now. I was craving one tonight but couldn't find any. My question is this; can I take a piece of a sub and get a comparable high? I'm also concerned about nausea after seeing a couple friends who never do opiates do a line and get very sick. The last time I did a perc was about 8 days ago if that matters. Thanks for any input

I never understood what people mean when they say perc 30s...do you mean a 30mg oxycodone pill or an actual percocet with APAP in it?

Anyways, suboxone doesn't really give a comparable high to real opiates. It'll fill up your receptors and get you out of withdrawal but that's about it in my experience. I can feel sedated and calm while taking it but never high. It is a strong drug so people with no opiate tolerance can get quite sick.

But basically, no, you're definitely not going to get a comparable high. If you want to try it anyways, do a small amount. Like a really small amount. Doing bupe is a good way to raise your tolerance so your normal opiates don't have the same effect so I'd just reccommend not doing it.

If you have no opiate tolerance, you could get a decent high out of some buprenorphine. It's not exactly the same as a full agonist opiate, it's a unique type of high.

Make sure to take very small dosages of Suboxone, because too much will definitely cause nausea.

Yeah I second all of this. For non-opiate tolerant people, it's very possible for bupe to really fuck them up... however, IME even a slight opiate tolerance really destroys the recreational aspects of bupe.

I've been on "bupe" for four years and have gone back and forth with my dosage to experiment with the affects. I'm prescribed 12mg a day....of the film. I find, like most of the folks on here, that a lower dose (2-4mg) is sufficient enough and produces a mediocre euphoria for me. And I say me because my chemical make up is unique.

I'm not sure where my tolerance "classification" would fall when I was in my "active" addiction. I was snorting 60-120mg of oxycodone a day for four years and prior to that, a constant supply of Lortab 10's on a daily basis for five years.
