Opioids First time shooting up?

I've wanted to shoot up for awhile now , I have friends that do it all the time and it just intrigues me. I haven't done an opiate since the last time I smoked a fentanyl patch, maybe 3 weeks ago. Anyway I picked up some MS Contins (60mgs) the peach ones . I know I would have to suck the coating off but can I get any tips I was told not to heat it. First off I'm gonna ask for a 30 gauge, short tip, 1cc insulin syringe, after that I pretty much need to know what to do so I don't fuck up , I've seen friends miss and have huge air bubbles . Anyway if someone could walk me through how to shoot up morphine it would be appreciated. Also yesterday I was on 18mgs of klonopin I know more than half is still in my system but after 2 years shouldn't I be fine to mix hats in me with opiates?

I won't go into specifics and the other posts are correct that you should search the other threads for your answers. One thing I want to mention really quickly is that you say you plan to IV as your roa...being as sterile as possible in the name of Harm Reduction is key, and one thing you should NEVER do is IV anything that has come in contact with your mouth, our mouths have a terrible array of bacteria that will get you very sick. I, myself, have even gotten Sepsis from injecting a pill that I hid underneath my tongue. Sepsis is no joke. "Approximately 20–35% of people with severe sepsis and 30–70% of people with septic shock die."

You really shouldn't IV after taking a 3 week break, especially with benzos still in your system. Second, MS Contins are not safe to inject, so strike two. Can you maybe wait until you get something more suitable for IV before doing it? You really don't want to be IVing something that isn't safe to inject your first time, because you are more likely to miss and then it's more likely to get an abscess.

If you are still going to do it, then search around to find out how to IV those. Heating up pills is never good, but if this specific pill calls for it then make sure to wait a good 10 minutes for it to cool down so that whatever should be solid will re-solidify before filtering rather than after you do your shot.
