I've been lurking these forums for months and just signed up to tell you all this story and say thanks to bluelight!
So about 5 months ago me my boyfriend a very good friend of mine decided we wanted to do ecstasy and began reading up about it. It seemed like a lot of fun and good experience, and we took a lot of good advice from these forums about safety. I got the pills from a friend connected to the scene who tested it and it turned black per Marquis test. They were red stars about 185mg (suspected combo of MDMA, MDA and caffeine). We saved the pills for a good night with a good local show downtown.
So the day finally came and we were a bit nervous but took the pills around 10:30 PM. I felt the effects first at around 11:00PM and it was just general sweating and moving around a lot, dancing and putting my hands through my hair. My friends were jealous at first and anxious, but eventually my boyfriend then my friend finally felt it. I began to roll pretty well (I believe, it is my only time). The lights were so amazing. The sounds were incredible. touching, smell, taste, everything. Just incredible euphoria and I was so happy. We danced for hours, my boyfriend enthralled by a glowstick, also playing with pop rocks and vicks inhaler from friendly ravers (who taught us). We felt a strange "collective consciousness" with all of the people around us who were also rolling. It was easy to tell the drunk people from the rollers. The comedown was good, just started wearing off a few hours later around 2 or 2:30. I still felt very happy and dancy, but not the insane euphoria and colors I did before.
I slept fine but my friend and boyfriend couldnt sleep. We had an amazing afterglow of at least 2 or 3 days. Felt happy, dancy, etc. I had no worries. I am afraid of dogs, and my aunts dog didn't even scare me when I went to her house the day after, I just pet him and play with him with no anxiety.
I found myself really wanting to roll again, so we bought a Marquis reagent test from dancesafe (thanks to you guys for pointing this out all the time in threads). I was drunk at this same venue weeks later and bought some, tested it but was Methylone. Have also tested another pill for weak amphetamine, we took it anyway and it was lame just kinda speed rush but very weak (like 1 hour max). Hopefully I will find more soon, it has been 4 months and I'm eager again (but I'll always wait at least 3 months as per bluelight recommendations!)
As another aside, I do have to say that I believe MDMA helped me to get over a few things in the recent past (regarding relationship problems between my boyfriend and I). I had been somewhat depressed and stuff for awhile, but this just shattered that, helped me get over the hump and now I am happy again with him as he is with me.
But in short, I wanted to say thanks for helping to make our experience generally safe and fun, and a lot of the stories of abuse and bad pills resonate with us, as I'm sure it does to the many lurkers here who are grateful to this forum.
