First time molly at a rave: will it be overwhelming?

i have never had the opportunity to go to a rave event unfortunately, but i wont take any X in clubs. im too paranoid. that, and we dont really have a techno club in the small southern town i live in. but i know my first time, a rave would have been overwhelming imo and i wouldnt have been able to act straight for shit. i enjoyed my first time with close friends in a chill environment where we could turn down the music if we wanted. to each his own i guess.
