First time Meth IV thoughts....

Didnt mean for this to become a trip report, a couple questions just kinda turned into one. Would have posted this in trip reports but I think a lot of the people in there aren't very open minded on this subject I think....


Spent the morning browsing Bluelight , Erowid and other drug related web sites getting info on IV'ing Meth. I for the most part found enough information on the subject, the only thing I had trouble comprehending was finding the right amount of Dope to water ratio. How do you go about finding out how many mg's of meth you should place in the spoon? I never was good with science, maybe someone can enlighten me on this. Anyways visually I put about a nickel coin's worth of Dope on the spoon and then about 25cc's give or take of water (boiled on stove for 10min). I've been smoking quite a lot of speed for a few weeks now and my tolerance is pretty high at the moment so I used what I thought was a bigger than average dose.

There was about a 50/50 mix of Meth/water. This sound about right? I then preceded to crush the crystals up-which werent disolving as fast as I heard they should. I heard mixed reviews of using heat or not so I decided against it. Mixed it to a liquid, then got a cotton a little bigger than a bb and sucked up all the liquid thru the cotton. I ended up with about 35cc's in my new insulin rig. Decided at the last moment to shoot out 5 units back into the spoon being my first time and all. Got a belt but couldnt for the life of me get it to get tight so ended up using a hair tie.

Went for the left arm as the right has scar tissue from shooting H. On my second try I found the vein, pulled back, slowly injected, stopped and pulled back, then plunged the rest into my arm. Had trouble getting the hair tie off and had to let go of the needle for a second letting it hang free which I hate the feeling of. Anyways took about 5-10 seconds then whooooshh, one of the first things I noticed was the strong distinct smell of Meth. I dont know exactly where it came from because all the dope was now in my veins. That tripped me out, then came the ringing in the ears and just this reallly strong rush of I dont know how to explain it, rush of energy, body high, senses hightened, It sent me flying. It was a little too much in the beginning which was slightly uncomfortable but it mellowed out and was very enjoyable after that. I've gotten pretty spun smoking Glass but IV'ing it is a whole different world.

It's now about 2 hours since I IV'ed the shot and Im pretty speedy, very spun. My girlfriend came over a few minutes ago and there was no way of hiding it from here, lol. She knew the minute she walked in the door, so I told her what I did and suprisingly didnt get mad, thankfully =P

Anyways that was that, didnt mean it to be so long, hopefully someone can elaborate on Dosage for me and if anyone else has smelled meth directly after injecting - thx,

Man shooting crank is lame, hooks you quicker and kills you quicker than smoking it but does not fuck you up as much as smoking it. Smack and coke produce better highs when booted but deffinitly not meth. I quit that crap anyway, meth will laugh while you torture yourself and then eat you alive (after you pick all the scabs off your face and loose your teeth).

But if your gonna do it than your gonna do it so all I can recommend is that you stay away from booting that crap and just smoke it!
 
I havn't IV'ed coke before so I couldnt tell ya. I would like to try it however. As interesting and exciting shooting meth was, I dont have plans on doing it again. I like smoking Dope w/ a P and passing it to friends rather than shooting up alone anyways. I like to have other people to talk their ear off instead of talking to myself =P

The rush you get from shooting meth is nothing compared to cocaine.

However, it's a lot more intense than any other method of administration for meth and lasts way longer than coke does iv'd.
 
Funny that you could smell it. When you inject the speed here in europe (amphetamine sulphate) you can taste it instead right after you inject it. It's because there's so many little bloodvessels going through the tongue apparently.
 
i do also taste cocaine or the manitol of heroin if ived....even the sirup of methadon Solution. hm cherry! ;)
 
IV coke is just a bit better but i would rather IV meth anyday because the rush is much longer and not that much worse than coke... i use a 20/80 meth water ratio but ive only injected meth twice.
 
I've heard IVing coke is better and also that IVing it and smoking crack are at the top of addictive habbits. I think I'd be more afraid to IV meth though, unless you could puify it. No telling what chemicals you'd be putting in your veins with average meth. Still, I don't think my curiosity of what IVing coke is like is enough to risk the addiction.
