So I picked up a few blotters of supposed lsd from a friend. He told me it was lsd, and I know the only way to be sure is to get a kit, but I'm posting this to see if the effects I experienced sound like an lsd trip to you experienced users.
Ive done a good amount of research beforehand, reading lots on erowid and have been trying to be as prepared as possible. 5:15 PM I decided to ingest a little less than half a blotter orally, holding it in my upper gum for 10 minutes before swallowing. I did this on an empty stomach.
About two hours later (7PM) I didn't really feel anything and thought it might be bunk, but know enough to not take any more blotters because the substance could take a while to kick in, so I decided to smoke a regular sized bowl of high grade cannabis. I have a decent tolerance to marijuana, smoke daily for the past couple of months. At about 7:30 I felt high off marijuana, but there were other effects that started to build which felt independent of the cannabis. A kind of warped perspective started taking hold and I felt a clean, natural kind of change in consciousness, there was minimal physical stimulation but it felt good and not speedy. At this point I did not notice a change in my senses as far as taste or sound.
These minimal effects started to creep up and become more midly intense, and at about 9PM I believe I was peaking. I was playing a PS3 video game at home with a kid my sister was baby sitting and he talked to me and my hearing became heightened, it didn't necessarily sound better, rather more amplified and started to annoy me. I became agitated and my moods started changing slightly, once he stopped talking I felt much better and relaxed, time slowed down a little bit. Right after this my emotions were changing and I was amazed at this so I got off the couch and went into the hall where I felt paranoid but became taken over by a shift in consciousness, a change in perspective I can only describe as astounding. I felt alive, I felt my whole body in a way I never have before, the thought came to me, "I am one, we are all one consciousness, oh my God." I have thought this before as I am a relatively deep (yet humble) thinker, but this time I understood it in a way so real that words are not sufficient enough to explain. This astounding feeling was like "BOOM" right in my forehead affecting my entire state of mind, smacking me in the face but it was amazing.
I went back and sat down and felt good, a clean altered state. I had no visual trails, no real patterns or geometric shape DEVs or ORCs, but when I closed my eyes I felt like my consciousness was at a different level. I played the video game, some kid version of lord of the rings and was fascinated by how fun it was to be gandolf with magical powers, I just started laughing. At around 11PM the effects were minimal and I stayed up till 1 relatively sober, fell asleep, slept good and woke up this morning feeling great.
With all of that said, does my experience seem like a light lsd trip to you experienced users? It was probably one of the greatest experiences of my life so far and I can't wait to trip again with a regular dose. I just don't know why it took 2 hours to come on, maybe I didn't notice it until the peak because it was a low dose? Thanks.
