First time Lorazepam -0.5mg- Didn't feel much at all.

I got some lorazepam, so for my first time I decided to take just .5mg.

Basically, it was very weak.

t+30min - can feel its effects coming in.. minor sedation

t+60min - small euphoria being experienced, possibly placebo. Feeling more sedated but not much. When walking, I feel a little weak in the legs.

t+1hr 30 min - extremely tired, just want to sleep, not much effects noticed except sedation.

t+2hr - feel like im coming down now

Conclusion: I thought it would be a lot more euphoric than it was. I have been more sedated by dramamine than this stuff. I didn't notice any amnesia which is a plus I guess. I think lorazepam is definitely overrated.

i think placebo is all youd feel from that level. i need at leat 1.5-2mg to feel it, 4-5mg is a good recreational dose.

Why would you expect euphoria from Ativan? The effects you report are exactly what I'd expect from the drug and dosage you took.

my benzo tolerance is 0, and I dont know what yours is.
the sedation was not placebo, i know that was there.

Why wouldn't I have expected euphoria? I'm taking a substance for the first time, I don't know what to expect, except what I have heard from other people.

Based on what I knew it was going to be: Relaxing, Sedating, and probably cause amnesia. And from seeing other people on it and the way they were acting, I thought it might have been euphoric.

im taking a higher dose tomorrow, and will probably post the experience on this thread.

well, i dont really have a benzo tolerance, but i do drink a lot, so i think that may give me some kind of tolerance. with that said, i seriously think no one, even those sensative to benzos, could find under 1mg at all recreational. i know on benzo equivilancy charts usualy say 1mg lorazepam=1mg alprazolam, but this is not true recreationally (and i doubt medically too). have you used any other benzos before?
