Hey gang
So after a year of plugging, I finally decided to try and IV my dilaudid to see what everyone has been raving about (besides, my tolerance has gotten to the point where plugging even 40mg hardly has an effect on me).
So after a weekend of trying to get it right (had trouble making the mix and finding veins), last night I finally managed to inject what was probably around 6mg into my hand (only place I could find a vein).
Well, like everyone says, the rush is great. For 10 or 15 minutes I felt really, really nice.
But then it was basically over. Nada.
At least a good plug always gave me a nice, mellow rush and the effects lasted a few hours.
A friend suggested that because of my tolerance I should try a higher dose, and next weekend I will, but I'm curious what the experts out there have to say.
Is injecting D all about that quick rush, with the expectation that's all you get?
As nice as the rush is, unless I can get something longer-lasting out of it, in the name of harm reduction I'm not sure I'd make injecting a long term hobby...
