first-time eztester!

hey guys i just received my eztester, so i've never used it before. im not an idiot. i cant read directions. but how exactly do you scrape the pill? do you scrape off part of it with a razor blade? or do you just scrape the pill onto a surface? and what do you use to test the pill on..a white piece of paper, a plate? please i need some of your expertise!

scrape a lil bit of the pill wif n e thing that can scrape!!! coin, razorblade, fingernail if the pill is soft onto a CERAMIC surface... or glass... summin the acid won't eat thru! never on paper!!! *eek*
