First time doing acid

Hello all! My friend recently asked if I would like to do acid Friday night (tomorrow) and I said yes. I've been researching on it and I 'm aware there are many first time tripping threads but I still have a few questions I couldn't find the answers for :P
Okay so our plan is for us to go to her house and chill in her room in the basement at night. I'm only planning on doing one tab cos first time and all. I've been smoking pot for about a year, and done mdma a few times and tried coke, had a good time on all. I feel sorta nervous anxious because I know the possibility of a bad trip is there, but my friend said that even bad trips are good because they help you learn about yourself, and usually you can usually calm yourself down. Is that the general consensus? I sometimes feel like as long as you just accept what is happening you should be fine, right? Also does brushing your tongue with a toothbrush really help absorb it faster? Is it better to eat a heavy meal or light one? What are some activities that are semi quiet that we could do. I was thinking of bringing my sketch book, or would I be too out of it.. Haha. Any tips for a first timer? Like everyone I just wanna have a good time lol =D

Haha, no, not unless you make your tongue bleed.

Is it better to eat a heavy meal or light one?
Better to eat a light one.

That's a good idea!

It sounds a little like you two are kids taking drugs at your parents' house, in which case my advice would be to take it easy on the drugs until you're a little older.

People might tell you to clean your mouth because it can help get rid of the top layer of dead skin cells in the insides of your cheeks, though probably not your tongue.
In any case it's irrelevant because LSD is already absorbed pretty easily so no need to complicate things.

I agree on the light meal, there shouldn't be any nausea or aches unless psychosomatic (and there is the occasional dirty feeling and increased body load which is apparently nothing but very bad luck), but in my experience LSD can make a person overaware of a lot of things including the feeling of having stomach contents which can be weird and feeling uncomfortably burdened.
Maybe a heavy meal about 3 hours before the trip is best though? You're gonna need that energy. But make it a very digestible meal.

Why does it sound like he/she is going to trip at his/her parents' house?

In any case drawing is fun whatever age you are, doubly so on psychedelics. There's nothing wrong with being playful, especially if that is how you feel spontaneously.

Please read up on set and setting, they are important.

5 words to live by when taking LSD

It's all in your head

6 if you dont believe in conjunctions.

If you are confident in your abiility to keep cool, you will have nothing to worry about. Speaking of worrying about things, dont bother too much with "what are we gonna do when we start tripping?"

from personal experience, if you have legit LSD, that IS what you are going to do. You dont need plans, just someone / people you trust and a place to be away from society in. The rest falls into place as the night goes on

dont freak out, nobody overdosed off acid ever. nobody still thinks they are a glass of orange juice. nobody stared into the sun and went blind. But a lot of people have freaked out after ingesting it and letting themselves get worked up over the wildly different state of mind that is LSD. Just know that once you put it on your tongue, there's no going back. so you can either make the most of it and potentially have a life changing experience, or waste 10-15 dollars for a night of extreme paranoia followed by a bitter taste in your mouth towards all psychadelics

open your mind
let go of your reality
dont puss out

If it gets tough, just sing. Singing is a great natural way of calming yourself down and getting some oxygen to the brain.

Remember that no matter how pant-shittingly terrifying it gets, it will be over at some point. It would cost you a lot more than whatever you're paying if it made you trip forever. :P

You'll have a great time though.
