Watch as you lean down to kiss me
Softly
Gently
Passionately.
I want to feel your arms around me,
I want to see you smile
So happily just because I am with you.
You need to love me,
I need to learn to trust again.
I want the world to revolve around you.
I want to be your world.
I want to stop any hurt you've ever felt
Or continue to feel.
I want you to stop my hurting past.
I want an "us" future.
I want you to meet my parents,
To let them see how wonderful you are.
They've never met any of my boyfriends,
But I want them to meet you,
To see how much I truly adore you.
I want to be happy,
Truly happy.
With no regrets,
No tears.
I know there'll be storms,
Bad times,
But I want that with you.
I want to weather anything and everything,
Just to become closer to you.
All the previous pain,
Was worth it.
Maybe the saying is true,

Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right one so that when we finally meet the right person, we will know how to be grateful for them.
I hope this is true.
