Misc First drug you tried that you instantly fell in love with?

Vicodin. When I was a teenager I took literally just a 5mg pill and I didn’t even know it was possible to feel that good

Same here. Hydrocodone my mom gave me from leftovers when I was about 13 years old. Got completely euphoria locked into my bed and that was game over. The start of it all.

It literally hurts every time I read this type of story.. 🙁 And I'm not joking or anything. It really hurts me as a parent...
 
Difficult answer.

When I was around 8 years old, my grandmother let me have a taste of 'Johannisbeermost', or partially fermented redcurrant juice. Was a readily available drink in the corner of Germany I grew up in. Basically a tart juice with around 2% alcohol.
I loved the taste and also loved the
light-headed 'good mood' feeling that followed.

So if we're being entirely ACCURATE (alcohol is a drug and this was first exposure) yeah this was IT.

If we're going by the more commonplace understanding of what 'drug use' is, then the first time I shot heroin BY A MILE.
(and yeah my first shot was my first use. I'm one of those)
 
Hashish .. laughing so much walking as if we were on the moon, euphoric trips that will stay in my memory for all my life. cannabis and hash was enough to trip away and travel in the space. ... I was 13 or 14 we were smoking marrocan blonde hash and local weed... damn
 
Ok, if some are going to bring up hospitals. I broke an arm
, not quite a compound fracture.( the broken bones weren't puncturing the skin.

They gave me demerol. It was the 80's I was 10, I think. The doctor said I would get a legal high and kind of laughed. He was a resident. Two of them had to set the radius and ulna of my arm.

I felt it and was unimpressed. It worked, eh.

The ceiling seemed to move. Also they filled my arm with some fluid. It was a long time ago and it ruined part of my summer vacation.

This is what happens when you don't fully commit to something stupid; and literally don't follow through and a worse fall happens.

I was with a high school friend crawling through the forest in and old vw rabbit and realized at 11pm it was too cold to try and rest in that tiny car

So I remember these old cabin rentals about 10 miles away with giant fireplaces w/ all the seasoned wood you could use, we woke up the 70 + year old proprietors - luckily they remembered me renting a night a year earlier with my girl

I think they took pity on us cause' we could barely stand or see

We ended up renting a second night re-dosing the microdots and desoxyn, sipping red wine trying to get it together with a raging 4 ft. fire the whole time

It was a trip I'll never forget a moment of

I think the 7 grams of opium was the most fun sittings, because we hardly ever knew anyone that had the pure amounts

The cabins were near the Rifle River MI
be great if they were still there

That's a crazy one ! thanks for elaborating, it reminds me some of my experiences too .
Some trips like that are unforgettable innit
