Well, long story short, it was a large dose of Propofol and Benzos that did Jackson in.
Lethal levels of the powerful anaesthetic propofol were found in Michael Jackson's body at the time of his death, according to an unsealed search warrant affidavit.

The news is the first to come from recent findings by officials at the Los Angeles County Coroners office, which have been sealed until now while police continue their investigations into the King of Pop's death.

According to the Los Angeles Times newspaper the affidavit was unsealed on Monday in Houston, Texas, where a storage facility belonging to the pop star's doctor Conrad Murray was raided by police last month.

In the search warrant documents, Murray tells LAPD detectives he had been treating Jackson for insomnia for six weeks before the singer's death, and he had been giving Jackson 50 milligrams of propofol every night using an intravenous line.

The doctor also claims he was trying to wean his famous patient off the drug and had lowered the dosage to 25 milligrams and mixed it with other sedatives.

He states that on June 23 -- two days before Jackson's death -- he administered two replacement medications and withheld the P propofol.

In the newly unsealed affidavit, Dr. Murray reveals he gave Jackson Valium at 1:30 a.m. on the morning of his death and when that failed to relax the pop star, he injected Lorazepam intravenously at 2 a.m. and administered Midazolam an hour later.

Jackson reportedly died later that morning after suffering a cardiac arrest.

Linky.

The doctor treating Jacko is so fucked now, with the coroner calling it a homicide and all. It is total bullshit that this doctor is going to be done for manslaughter just because Jacko was a junkie.

propofol hey

2 words

FUCK JACKO

but yeh , on a more serious note , i think they shld name a painkiller after him

Shame the good doctor won't be taking on any new patients.

I usually don't give a rat's ass about matters like these, but I was scanning through this list and couldn't help myself:

On June 22 Murray said he gave Jackson a cocktail of drugs similar to what he gave him on the day he died, June 25 -- propofol, Ativan and Versed, which helped the star fall asleep, according to the documents. On June 23 he gave Jackson only the Ativan and Versed, which helped him sleep.

But on June 25, other drugs failed to do the job, as Murray recounted to detectives in an hour-by-hour account detailed by detective Orlando Martinez of the Los Angeles Police Department: Learn more about the events of the night Jackson died »

-- At about 1:30 a.m., Murray gave Jackson 10 mg of Valium.

-- At about 2 a.m., he injected Jackson with 2 mg of the anti-anxiety drug Ativan.

-- At about 3 a.m., Murray then administered 2 mg of the sedative Versed.

-- At about 5 a.m., he administered another 2 mg of Ativan.

-- At about 7:30 a.m., Murray gave Jackson yet another 2 mg of Versed while monitoring him with a device that measured the oxygen saturation of his blood.

-- At about 10:40 a.m., "after repeated demands/requests from Jackson," Murray administered 25 mg of propofol, the document said.

With that level of tolerance, how would a coroner be able to tell what a lethal dose is. The coroner is an MD and understands tolerance, but she has no idea what Jacko's habit and thus tolerance is. I think thats a good manslaughter defense, but negligence is hard to beat here.

Why does the op article mention the doc saying he 'withheld the propofol' on the night of MJ's death while at the same time the cnn article posted by 2c-buoyant quotes doc Murray stating that he indeed administered the propofol after repeated requests from jack...

I am looking forward to seeing multiple charges brought to a few people involved in this ordeal. Remember how long it took the lawyer b/f of Anna Nicole to be brought to trial? I knew what he did was illegal but it took over a year for the D.A. to prepare and execute the case.

Is it true that Jackson used to inject the Diprivan liquid into his A*hole?
