wishing on a star to find the parfect part
dirty sharks tear me apart missin' who we are
wishin' on a scar that guards my heart

im walkin in the dark but i was marked for death
regardless of the pest im barred from all the rest
started fresh and tarred 'em like a fence

seek the solemn dream, call em schemes
always lost and very seldom seen
clearly after cream, dodgin' all the fiends
just to follow what it means

reapin all the seeds because i practice what i preech
thru hell or sleet u fell asleep
followed through the belly of the beast

searchin' for a feast i hope will never cease
kneelin' at ya feet, victory is bittersweet
feelin' weak, this is where i weep, what a web we weave

obey the faith it saves from razor blades
a killer cage and all the time we waste-
is in a name we call a rose to throw it all away
for wishin' stars, from dust the villain spoke

this life is but a goal, through it all we fail the most
i refuse to be a drone when love is just a poem
thats why im wishin' on a star to find the perfect home

I've been on quite the journey myself, recently. It is tough finding a place to belong, especially when everything you try to do make things more complicated. But I have confidence it gets better.
