Went to PM doctor and right from the door 10mg norcos. I have to return in ten days and he said hes going to add an Extended release med. Im just curious if any other members suffer from pain and go to PM. Im curious what he might prescribe as an ER med. Im currently taking norco 10mg 6x day and gabapentin. The norcos help with my pain but they do wear off fast. Im just glad im finally being treated for my pain because it fucking sucks being in pain.
 
glad to here you've find a decent doctor I also have been yesterday as I kept going back but no one would give my the correct advice but now finally I have been put on a repeat prescription and have therapy and physio lined up as well as bening put on some awesome meds to get me out of this pain, all the best. Stay safe. ;)
 
It could be anything....it just depends on the doctor as to what they think is appropriate to prescribe.

Just IMO, make sure to take advantage of other treatments aside from opioid therapy. It's really easy to just rely on the pills and not try to address the underlying issue(s). Speaking from experience.

Ill definitely try other treatments. He has already recommended a chiropractor which im going to take full advantage of. Im also going to ask about having a stimulator implanted. Ive tried injections and get absolutely no benefit from them. Right bow i just hope i get a good ER med. Its been a long time since ive actually been treated properly by a dr. Prior to this ive basically been self medicatin. It might sound crazy but i was using H more to treat my pain than for pleasure although i dont deny there was pleasure in using H.

Thanks man. Its crazy but i actually feel like a new person now that my pain levels have subsided a little bit. Cant wait to get my level down to a 2-3 lately its usually a 7-8. Good luck to you as well and thanks for responding.
