Hey there bluelight; so this is a matter that I THINK I understand but decided for my benefit as well as anyone else out there who is unsire, to just ask the question so here goes.
The unlimate question is, is Methoxetamine a legal substance federally?
I ask this about MXE in particular rather than other RC mimics of popular drugs because in most cases, the federal analogue laws will cover most un-scheduled analogues (such as 6-APB to MDA etc. etc.) however, as far as I can tell, the federal analogue laws only apply to analogues of drugs in either schedule 1 or 2. Since methoxetamine is an analogue of Ketamine which is only a schedule 3 drug, wouldnt that mean that analogue laws are non-applicable to it and it is a fully legal substance?
(Also; I am aware several states have made it illegal, but if anyone has a complete list of these states that would be apprecited, Im just not sure if the erowid list is up-to-date.)
If my reasoning is correct, hypothetically (not that youd want this to happen) but say your sample gets siezed by local police; if it is NOT specificlly scheduled for your state couldnt you supposedly just laugh in the officers face and as for your baggy back? (So long as you werent passing it off as another substance)
Just curious about this little loophole in the analogue acts..
