Hi,

I'm new here and I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out how to filter my oxycodone 10/325. I have been looking around the forum and it looks like a “syringe wheel” might be the best option. I didn’t intend to spend over $100.00 for 50 of them, but I guess I might need to. Some of them are over $3.00 a piece!

I don’t need a sterile solution as I use oral and rectal. I currently CWE 60mg at a time. I thought that by now I would be off the oxycodone but I’m not. I’ve been doing this for years now and I would like to start having a clean product. The pharmaceutical companies don’t care what junk they put in the pills and now they are importing their ingredients from China. I’d like to get out the aluminum dies, and cellulose. I’m not thrilled about the dioxide’s either because I wouldn’t be surprised if they contain “nanoparticles”.

Does anyone know what micron filter size I should get for this type of filtering? Will my CWE solution flow through it without a vacuum? I didn’t want to buy the wrong thing on the internet and then turn around and have to buy something else. What I found with CWE is if the paper is not damp and cold the liquid will absorb into it and drip all over the refrigerator. So I assume that this micron filter should be damp and chilled also??? It looks like it would soak up a lot of liquid???

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Karen

you're not supposed to mention prices that you pay for drugs on bl, so u might want to edit your post accordingly. i might add that by the "street" with which i'm familiar, those prices are decent, assuming those are "street prices" and you aren't paying that amount at the pharmacy.

anyway, are u seriously worried that much about wheel filtering percs that u don't intend to inject? i mean, good for you, but i don't think you'll ever be able to completely filter out the inactives in one of those pills while still retaining anything close to the same amt of the active drug. also, do u have any proof that the other ingredients in those pills are harmful when taken as directed (besides the apap in high doses)? do you support a trade embargo against china?

lots of people can probably help you with this, but you might want to think about whether you even want to mess with pills in general if you're afraid to take them orally without filtering out all the inactives. if you were talking iv, my advice would be to avoid those types of pills entirely, but despite the greed, potential unethical behavior, etc. of bigpharma, i just wouldn't be that worried about the inactives contained in percs taken orally.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. I was referring to the prices of the "syringe wheels" on the net. The oxy is a script. Sorry for the confusion.

Knowing what I know now about bigpharma and the FDA nothing would surprise me. I don't trust them AT ALL... and rightfully so. They want to use nanoparticles to help disperse drugs into the blood stream faster. They also want to use them (nanoparticles) to pass the blood brain barrier. They can do whatever they want but people should know about this dangerous technology. You know the FDA and bigpharma - they don't tell you anything; we are the test subjects. They have the technology right now to "track" your pills usage with a micron transmitter... no kidding. Drug ingredients imported from China don’t have the same quality assurance as those in the U.S., so bigpharma gets even higher profits. OK, off the subject I know.

I totally hate to talk about it, but it seems people here are pretty frank. I can't always take the CWE liquid orally. If there's any food in my stomach I don't feel it and if I drink it on an empty stomach I get sick. Soooo... The "alternative" is a very good option. That area has lots of tiny blood vessels and we don't really know what is absorbed and what isn't. After years of doing this and I don't know how many more; I just had visions of Farrah Fawcett and thought I'd try and be more careful. I'm already in bad shape :\

Karen :)

Sorry I don't have time atm to respond to the op properly but I believe you are misinterpreting his statement.
I believe the op was referring to the price of micron filters not the oxycodone.
It is worded ambiguously so I may be wrong.
Regardless just wanted to mention it, so that the op can clarify. :)

Also to the op, if you would like more information regarding micron filters try the

Micron Filtering Mega Thread and FAQ

Hope that helps.

I guess everyone can forget the first part as the op clarified his statement while I was typing this post.

FYI - I just thought I'd put this article here. It's too old for the news thread. I know it's about hair dyes, but I found it researching yellow lake dyes that are in oxycodone.

Parts of this article are a bit alarming when you know it's about something that goes on the scalp. But for dyes that are injected or used rectal, (membranes) for many years, I'm not very happy about that.

It's very good to read that the dyes "are not" water soluble. But still, I think at this point for rectal using, I will use a .2 syringe filter. I am using between 80 to 100mg oxycodone a day, so I feel better about a filter :\

Cosmetic colors and dyes- which ones are safe

When we ran our post on Naturtint hair dye and its potentially harmful chemical colorants, we also noted that there are safer dyes such as Surya Henna on the market. This prompted some of you to point out that Surya contains dyes such as HR red 3. It seemed to be time to try to round up the various dyes and pigments in makeup and hair dyes and determine which are safe to use.

The most common synthetic colors used in cosmetics and hair dyes are called FD&C colors and they are derived from coal tar, which in turn is a by-product of petroleum. Because some coal tar dyes have been known to cause cancer, they are are regulated by the FDA as to the amount of lead or arsenic they contain, limiting these elements to 10 parts per million. In the USA, the following artificial colorings are permitted by the FDA:

FD&C Blue No. 1 (Brilliant Blue FCF, E133), Approved for external use in soaps and lotions and Blue No.4. FD&C Black No.2 and No.3. FD&C Brown No.1. FD&C Green No. 3 (Fast Green FCF, E143). Not to be used for eyes, lips, mucous membranes, and Green 5 ,6 and 8). FD&C Orange No. 4, 5, 10 and 11. FD&C Red 4, 6, 7, 17, 21, 22, 27, 28, 30, 31, 33, 34, 36, FD&C Red No. 40 (Allura Red AC, E129). FD&C Violet No.2. FD&C Yellow No. 5 (Tartrazine, E102). FD&C Yellow No. 6 (Sunset Yellow FCF, E110) and F&G Yellow No: 7, 8, 10, 11.

Although I found a 1984 study on mice that concluded that coal tar dyes were not toxic, there has been recent evidence suggesting that they are potentially carcinogenic. “Women using permanent hair dye at least once a month for a period more than one year more than double their risk of bladder cancer” (USC School of Medicine, Gago-Dominguez et al. 2001). This paper also stated that women who are genetically vulnerable to bladder cancer (so-called “slow acetylators” who are exposed to some carcinogens for longer periods of time) using permanent hair dye at least once a month for a period of 10 years or more had more than 4 times more risk for bladder cancer.

Coal tar dyes associated with cancer include 4-methoxy-m-phenylenediamine (which we spotted in the Naturtint hair color the other day), 2,4-diaminoanisole, 4-chloro-m-phenylenediamine, 2,4-toluenediamine, 2-nitro-p-phenylenediamine, 4-amino-2-nitrophenol.

The term lake dyes refers to water insoluble colors. Lake colors can also be derived from coal tar and can trigger allergic reactions. Studies have shown brilliant lake red R to be one of the worst offenders. It should be noted that coal tar is also used as a dandruff therapy in shampoos.

In addition to coal tar, cosmetic colors can also be made from chromium oxide and aluminum powder. Chromium oxide is usually called chrome green and the Material Safety Data Sheet describes it as a “cancer hazard”. It is used in Sephora’s Pure range. Aluminum powder is an irritant.

Some synthetic lake colors seem to be perfectly safe. For example, disperse black 9 (used in the Surya Henna hair dye) has been deemed by researchers to be safe. HC yellow 2 is regarded as a low hazard by the EWG and the Cosmetic Ingredients Review (an industry body) says it is safe at concentrations up to 3%. Surya Henna also has HC Yellow 4, although this broadly seems to be safe, apart from concerns about reproductive toxicity that have led the CIR to impose a limitation on dose of 3%. Incidently, Surya lists HR red 3, about which I haven’t been able to find any information.

Safe colors are made from mica flakes and iron oxides. The latter are graded safe for cosmetic use as they are produced synthetically in order to avoid the inclusion of ferrous or ferric oxides, and impurities normally found in naturally occurring iron oxides.

Other pigments and dyes, such as beet powder, come from plants. Makeup brands such as 100% Pure use only plant-derived pigments. The only one to avoid is carmine, a crimson pigment made from the ground-up, dried bodies of a cacti-eating bug called the cochineal insect. As well as not being appealing to strict vegans, carmine is an irritant.

As someone who has blonde highlights, I am now going to have to email my colorist for the name of the brand she uses and brace myself for any unpleasant discoveries about what I’ve been putting on my head all these years.

Karen, those filters can indeed be expensive in large quantities, but you could filter enough for a week or two at least all at once most likely. Keep it in the fridge, and i know you aren't IVing and likely wont be thrilled about spending more money either but bacteriostatic water may also be a good idea when string a solution for this long.

I don't think nanoparticles/nanotechnology are being used in pharmaceuticals yet? And is there any evidence for them being harmful?

And what evidence is there for a micro transmitter in your oxycodone? Where is it, in the pills? In the box?

I think you can relax, things aren't that bad yet.

As for the micron filtering, it is a bit much for just a rectal administration. The aluminium is an irritant, but is there enough of it in there to have a detrimental effect? And the cellulose is harmless, you ingest cellulose every time you eat cabbage or Brussels sprouts you getting a higher amount of cellulose into you. A standard CWE should be fine.

I hate to say it, baybe and blondie because I greatly respect you both as members but it seems rather apparent that you both have been brainwashed from seeing the truth by micro transmitters and nanoparticles.

*snigger

Bloody Big Pharma wanting to know exactly where I am...

If you inject tin-foil*, do you think that would disable them? It works for the brain scanning waves!

*Dear god please do not do this. This is sarcasm.

Is it harm reduction if I post up my patented method of preparing tin foil for injection?

I usually use a solution of hydrogen cyanide to dissolve the foil, so far they haven't tracked me down though im always keepin' two eyes out and open watching for them.

*I almost didn't bother saying this because it's painfully obvious, but this WILL kill you.

No, there's no proof that nanoparticles are safe or unsafe. There are no requirements for testing them as of yet. And if they did any testing on them the "tests" would likely be skewed. I realize that nanoparticles in pharmaceuticles is a very new technology.

They say GMOs are safe and the American public is not smart enough to figure out what they are; therefore labels should not be allowed on GMO foods. Yet small tests in this Country have shown them to cause reproductive and endocrine system damage. Tests done in Britain have shown damage to the guts of the tests animals. GMOs are banned in that country and China is watching to see what happens to the Children in the US before allowing GMOs to be approved there.

What the biotech industry can do is mind bending. Biotech is a good thing in my opinion; just keep it out of the food, pharmaceutical and beauty industry. But that won’t happen.

Anyone who thinks the Government is looking out for you... think again. Go and get a vaccine like a good patient.

I can't get into Pharmaceuticals and the FDA - it's much too big a subject for this thread. Anyone that doesn’t "get" what goes on between the two, well then you just don't get it.

I have experienced Pfizer’s deceit. Even the FDA decided to shut them down but could not because too many jobs would be lost. So Pfizer just opens up a quasie company and lets this new company pay the law suit. And then it’s business as usual.

I want to think in the long term about the ingredients in the Oxycodone. I’ve been taking large amounts of pills are over 13 years now. I'm throwing ideas around, doing my own research and then making my own decisions.

I know it sounds odd worrying about a little aluminum while putting 100mg oxy up my butt 8o … I guess that’s just me

I can't quit this oxy yet. I’ve stopped trying for now :\

OD has a very narrow scope and focus on harm reduction and this type of discussion doesn't belong here. You might want to check out our Current Event and Politcs forum to discuss these topics.

I think Big Pharma perpetually act unconscionably but I don't believe its some malevolent conspiracy; its just apathy about adverse effects they have on individuals, society and the planet in the name of profits. My family, knowing how I feel about these bastards, actually bought me some stock in Eli Lilly as a joke Christmas gift 2 years ago... I actually got my quarterly dividend check yesterday. They lost the largest lawsuit in history after illegally marketing a drug off-label in populations it was killing people (marketing it for dementia for example and people were gaining 100 lbs, getting diabetes and dying in some cases) and are still churning out a profit.

Anyway, I apologize for my jokes earlier in the thread. I wasn't making fun of you, clearly you've done some research on this topic, but just how certain words you used can sound out of context.

If you have any questions about why I'm closing this or anything, feel free to PM me.
