i had so many in my head, but i think they all got named already.

i do have an obscure one:

bmx bandits (starring miss nicole kidman)
 
all the right moves
amazon women on the moon
kentucky fried movie
the last american virgin
mischief
space camp
this is spinal tap
 
Since this is turning into general 80's movies i'll recommend time bandits. Also Top gun is great to watch high and notice all the homoerotic undertones, it's like the fightclub of the 80's.

Most of the good ones have already been mentioned. But here are a few lesser known 80's teen movies...

My Bodyguard: a very good "we're not so different after all" movie
Real Genius: kind of a distant cousin of Weird Science starring Val Kilmer
I Was A Teenage Zombie: I remember this being moderately funny.
My Science Project: I remember next to nothing about this movie other than that it was moderately popular when I was in 4th grade
Losin' It: Early Tom Cruise movie
Morgan Stewart's Coming Home: Stars the guy who played Ducky in Pretty In Pink. I remember liking it when it came out.
 
I frikkin love Real Genius. I've never seen Weird Science though....I have no fuckin idea why. I wish I could find the DVD of it soon!
 
Why do people keep mentioning films that've already mentioned in the thread?

It's pretty pointless if you ask me.
 
Because they want to, and sometimes people are lazy to see if its already been mentioned, or they want to profess their feelings for some movies that have already been mentioned.

This thread made me realize just how many teen movies were made in the 80's. I mean, they churned out SHITLOADS. I have little memory snipits of a dozen different movies that I can't remember the name for.
