Film: The Wolfman

I know what I will be doing Valentine's Day weekend - seeing the remake of the classic Universal Studios movie The Wolf-Man!

most recently it was publicized that this movie earned a delicious "R" rating, and most shockingly the studio was quite pleased! which is different from the usual, as most studios go after the "PG-13" rating to draw in bigger crowds.

Benicio del Toro is set to play the title character while Anthony Hopkins is on the bill as well. this could very well be the movie of the year for me

I've seen the trailers, looks good. I only hit theaters about twice a year at most, so this won't get movie money from me that way, but I'll be interested in watching on DVD when it becomes available. I like B. del Toro Hopkins ain't bad either, but from what I saw in the trailer, I'm not expecting a lot from him (yeah, I know, such judgements ought not be made off trailers).

Damn....interesting flick. Didn't try to be more than it said it was, no morals, no over the top explosions or special effects to cheeze it up - just two good actors, executing a time proven story, with great filming and quality effects. I liked this one, definitely.

i found it tired and dull. good work by all involved, but it just didn't grab me.
