I would have to debate this. Stephen King is perhaps one of the finest story tellers ever, but in no way is he a good writer. His style is trashy, he admits as much. Don;t get me wrong, I love reading his works, but he leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to plot.

Go read Bag of Bones and say this.

Stephen King is absolutely both a gifted writer and story teller.
