I've been hoping for another suprise from comic book movies, but this wasn't it. But the only 2 good R rated comics gone to movies were The Crow and Blade (and blade was a sub-character if I'm correct, and didn't have his own full series). This wasn't it though. It wasn't bad for the action genre and yeah, it was lots better than that crap they did with Dolph Lungren (that only gets replay on Cinemax at 5am.)

he was in the midnight sons with morbius, johnny blaze, ghostrider, and doctor strange if i remember correctly

i thought this movie was really great. humor was sick &twisted just the way i like it. one of the best movies ive seen all year.

Just saw it on DVD last nite and it was pretty good. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
A little bit of bullshit involved in the story but nonetheless i give it a 3.5 out of 5.
I like the way they get punished! Im sadistic hahaha

i caught the last 3/4 of this movie the other night for the first time.

it's ALL kinds of awesome. %)

the fight scene with the big russian guy, and the john travolta murder-death-kill at the end were worth it alone.

hilarious :D

the new punisher: war zone sounds like it will be a little more in line with the newer punisher comics and probably appeal more to the sensibilities of action movie fans who grew up on rambo and shit like that.

read an interview with the director who said she loves violent movies and wouldn't have done it if it couldn't be a dark, hard-R rated shoot em up.

well i haven't read any comics since i was 12 years old, so i wasn't encumbered with any preconceptions ;)

when i was watching it i had no idea he was even supposed to be a 'superhero'...
