L O V E L I F E' s comment seemed to imply that we (those who disliked the film) are incapable of appreciating beauty. TheSpade pointed out that beauty is subjective and that those of us who dislike the film aren't incapable of appreciating beauty, we just don't think that this particular film is beautiful. It's a valid point and if he hadn't already made it, I would have.

Ironically your sarcastic comment about how pointless his commentary was is considerably more pointless and off-topic than what you actually quoted.

It's nice to see that you're still making valuable contributions to F&T discussions.

i wouldn't have said anything if he had presented it the way you did

affirming that "It wasn't beautiful in any way", even with the "IMO", gave me quite a different feeling than a post actually explaining that beauty is subjective
