the dialogue just wasn't interesting.

the naration/dialogue is letter for letter the same as in the comics
and i find it impressively good
not often does the text help the drawing so much in setting the mood of a comics
 
Anyone see the recut version?

Opening with the phrase "the customer is always right", it's safe to assume that many diehard fans demanded this new version of the film, which seperates all three stories: the hard goodbye, the big fat kill and that yellow bastard into three seperate and distinct chapters, each with title and extended scenes.

Personally, i'm of mixed minds on the two versions. It's nice to see the stories as they're originally told, and the extended scenes were nice, but the original flowed better as a film for me.

Worth a look.
