Film: Session 9

There would be a lot more than 3, and they would be big and full of discussion instead of small and scattered through the forums and time/space =D

There is a thread on this somewhere here. 8) Anyway being a horror movie freak and connoseur, yep...i have to say, session 9 was NOT a disappointment. (and ive been oh so peeved at the recent ho-hum spate of *horror* movies that are actually comedies to me ) ...
Ive seen Session 9 like, 5 times and I always find something new each time I view it ! Its fantastic...the cinematography, the music, holy shit....and the scariest thing about it is, it isnt even plugging an esoteric/spiritual viewpoint. Its all fuckin PSYCHOLOGICAL, which creeps me the fuck out even more....I swear I've seen Simon in a few crazy people I used to be close to...lol

I love the way this film montages flashbacks , and the imagery is fuckin fantastic, as is the creepy score.
I jumped a few times when the camera was panning up towards the face of "princess" .....the blood red colors on the asylum wall pictures, stuff like that.

This film was a really fucking genuinely creepy psychological horror film, I think personally that the more stupid and unimaginative you are, the less you will get from this film, so its unsurprising that a lot of people are going to get all whiney about how crap it is.

Its really very well filmed, and the actors do a damn nice job, and as someone else said, its nice to see Swanney from Trainspotting in another film. ;)
