film: Man on Fire

Anyone ever seen Man on Fire with Denzel Washington? Holy shit. A Very powerful film and it's done very uniquely. Very good to watch while messed up if you're good at handling action/violence with an intense plot.

i liked this movie a lot. it was well done from start to finish. the begining was sort of boring but it made you really care about the characters in a way you usually wouldn't in a action movie. the action scenes are very brutal but also deliberate and purposeful. 8.7/10

the cinematic techniques were awesome on this film, lots of sepia tones mixed with good music to fit the scene in mexico. I liked how during the spanish to english translations certain words were emphasized with bold lettering and making them larger then others. All in all it's a gruesome fucking movie, with pretty much everyone involved people getting murdered in cold blood. Mix in another part torture, another part empathy for a little girl and you have one awesome revenge movie on your hands.
