if you've seen ghost world, you probably recall one of the characters being somewhat obsessed with a certain dance scene from a bollywood movie?
well, the scene in the movie is from gumnaam which i tracked down and watched over the weekend.
it's a psychedelic indian version of the classic agatha christie story '10 little indians'. the sets are garishly coloured yet strangely beautiful, the acting and script are comical and the direction hugely overblown.
i recommend it highly as it's a lot of fun.
