If one were looking films that have come out recently to appeal to Bluelighters, Death at a Funeral would have to be at the top of the list.

This film contains hard drug use, hilarious comedy, toilet humour, blackmail, kidnapping, death, deception and strong references to midget porn. I'm not sure how it has flown under the radar for so long. Perhaps the title and cover are a little misleading.

I don't want to give too much away, but I laughed hard. You should see it too.

I only made it about halfway through before I got bored and turned it off. Of course, I was pretty wasted at that point in time... I'll give it another shot next time I'm looking for something to watch.

Admittedly it starts off real slow and looks like middle-class wank to begin with, but stay with it, it improves dramatically.

^^ I agree. This movie was a comedic gem and quickly turns into a laugh-fest. I didn't expect this to take the direction it did. Beatlebot is definitely right... it should totally appeal to Bluelighters.

as a huge fan of spooks/mi-5 i was glad to see matthew macfadyen and keeley hawes again.

i thought it was pretty good but not great. it got a bit slapstick towards the end. while it's been done to death in movies, the whole simon smith subplot (spoiler: [spoil]the guy who takes the e/acid-style drug thinking it's a relaxant[/spoil]) was well done. alan tudyk was great - he's a great comic actor.

This movie was pretty funny. Lots of clever dialog to tie various situations in the movie together. Yes, the guy tripping was great. Watching him wander around thinking everything is so beautiful and freaking out about the coffin. To top it off, you have to love movies that having midgets doing drugs as well. LOL
Very enjoyable movie.

still rofl at the sight/anticipation of the completely ridiculously wasted midget, I knew this was gonna be funny as soon as the tablet mix up scene

was nicely surprised by this flick after randomly downloading it, the hallucogenic mix ups, midget, bodies, diahorrea and family awkwardness and slapstick was a worthy cocktail =D

the whole simon smith subplot (spoiler: the guy who takes the e/acid-style drug thinking it's a relaxant) was well done.

Yeah, that was my favorite part of the entire film. =D

I didn't really get into it that much though, apart from that, but I'd still give it 3/5 stars.

He was cool in Firefly as well.
