I went into this movie with low expectations. Not because it looked like crap. The trailer actually made the movie look decent. Then again,so did the trailers for The Grudge,Hide and Seek,The Forgotten,White Noise(you get the point) It started out potentially good,but then took a spiraling leap into the shitter. I swear,the lead character Kenny's scenes of him staring at closet doors,afraid to open them must have taken up at least 20 minutes of this movie. Throw in the plot points that went nowhere(his mother,the missing children)and the ridiculus,boring cop-out of an ending and you've got the movie I expected,but hoped not to see. Confusing,boring,stupid,did I mention confusing? The people responsible for putting together the movie trailers these days deserve an Acadamy Award. Over the past year alone,they have managed to make the shittiest movies I've seen in a long time look like the must-see-event of the year.

seriously WTF is up with all these new "horror" movies ... i think i need to be drunk to watch them anymore, or I'll just fall alseep from the stupidity of em.

IMO this movie was better than much of the crap horror movies that have come out lately. but that doesn't make it a good, or even decent movie.

i'd advise to not waste your money on this movie, go rent an old horror movie if you want to be scared.
