Fighting erectile dysfunction on stimulants - Alpha/Beta Blockers?

So it's safe to reason that norepinephrine release is responsible for peripheral vasoconstriction and thus erectile dysfunction on stimulants. I was wondering if there's a possibility of reversing this effect through concomitant use of alpha-1 and alpha-2 blockers. I know that beta-blockers kill the erectile response, that alpha-1 blockers lower blood pressure and that yohimbe, an alpha-2 blocker helps facilitate erection but causes high blood pressure. Is it safe to experiment taking a stimulant along with yohimbe + alpha-1 blocker?

Any other ideas for facilitating erections on stimulants through noradrenergic antagonism or some other mechanism?
 
I would not take yohimbe with a stimulant! This seems very dangerous due to the adrenergic response provided by yohimbe. However, to reduce the erectile dysfunction you need to look at vasodilation to negate the constriction. This leads me to believe that if there was a means to get the body to produce more nitric oxide temporarily, the vasoconstriction would be reversed. By dilating the veins, nitric oxide lowers arterial pressure. The first that that comes to mind is l-arginine, an amino acid that is a precursor to nitric oxide. I know from experience that acute oral l-arginine administration provides blood vessel dilation and reduced blood pressure within about an hour, but i have never tried it while on a stimulant (because i discovered the amino acid after having access to stimulants). However, I am going to test the theory of the reverse vasoconstrictive properties by l-arginine while on stimulants as soon as i get the chance.

This combined with a couple other vasodilators like marijuana and cayenne pepper (in capsules) could likely fully negate the vasoconstriction experienced by using stimulants.

Thus my question: wouldn't this increased NE release be harmless if an alpha-1 blocker was administered?
 
I don't think so; more than alpha1 adrenergic receptors are involved.

If you have trouble getting an erection on stimulants you should lower your dose.
 
Ever heard of PDE5 inhibitors?...

10-20 mg of cialis or 5-10 mg of levitra + 2.5 mg of Yohimbine (standardized, not Yohimbe) = guaranteed boner with any degree of arousal.

I've been stupid enough to try a combination of tadalafil + L-arginine + Pycnogenol while on a large amount of Alpha-PVP. The result was a serious hypotensive crisis, and yet I was unable to achieve an erection.
 
Throwing out L-arginine for a solution. I've used it to good effect, it has a good safety profile and is readily available without prescription.

It also helps with cold extremities whilst stimmin.

Anxiety is pretty vasoconstrictive. Can't really get aroused while encountering dangers like that.

Arginine is a total waste if you're trying to combat small stimulant penis.
 
worked for me...its cheap worth a try. I found it works better taken early in the day before stimulant administration. Its not a magic bullet like viagra, but it most certainly makes an erection easier to attain, what dosage did you take? I took a gram to a gram and a half, it came in 500mg pills. Obviously stim dosage matters too, not gonna get a boner after caining a-pvp all day.

1-1.5 grams isn't going to do anything and its about 100 times cheaper to buy a stockpile of PDE5 inhibitors from overseas.
