Fibromyalgia and methylone

I wonder if anyone can give me a bit of advice. I am suffering with fibromyalgia which, for those unfamiliar with the condition, causes chronic muscle and tendon pain all over the body and extreme fatigue. There are many other symptoms but not so relevant with regard to my query.

I take pain killers and anti-depressants (ones that are also useful for reducing pain and promoting sleep). Even so, the pain and fatigue are ever present and I find myself with a '4 hour day' after which I am very very exhausted and unable to sleep because I'm in pain.

Last November I promised to decorate my daughter's bedroom and we chose new furniture as well. She is a teenager and I decided that her room overhaul would be a good investment as it will be great for a guest room once she has left home. The room was cleared by my daughter and her friends and then she was banished from it until it was completely done.

I had prepared all year, buying paint etc, sourcing the right furniture and hunting for matching accessories like lamps and curtains. We even chose a latin saying that I 'signwritered' on one of the walls.

The thing that worried me most was that I would be too exhausted to get the room done in a reasonable time or that I would have to actually stop altogether because of my condition.

I was a bit of a party animal when I was younger and wondered about 'speed'. I was talking to some friends that I trust and asked them if they knew where I could get some. The suggested methylone. I looked into it and decided it was just the thing.

My first try of it reminded of coke I had taken years earlier and of speed because it did indeed give me more energy. I even lost my appetite for a while! I was also pleased to discover that there was no 'come down' from it. The first gram lasted me about a fortnight. I took a small amount each morning and felt set for the day. I had much more energy and motivation than normal (although nowhere near as much as when I was healthy).

The room makeover went like a dream. I did have friends on hand to help out but one ended up being unable to because she wasn't well and the other friend helped with building the furniture at the end of the project. My daughter was delighted with her room and I was delighted with my new-found energy. I ordered another 5 grams.

The 5 grams lasted about 5-6 weeks. Since November of last year I have consumed 25 grams. I have a gram left. The friends who recommended it let me try mephedrone once at a party. It was amazingly similar to E's I had taken in my partying days. However, I'm not into parties and getting 'wasted' any more - I simply want to be able to get up in the morning, do some housework, have the energy to go and visit friends occasionally and to enjoy my craft based hobbies without having to have a nap in the afternoon.

Before I started taking methylone, I was in bed, most days, until at least midday and going to bed at about 11pm and taking a nap in the afternoon between 3 and 4.30. I had time awake to do either housework or hobbies but not both. I hardly ever left the house and when friends visited me I either cut the visit short or I would start to fall asleep in front of them. I had no quality of life at all.

Now methylone is banned and once the stuff I still have is finished, I'll have to go back to the 'zombie' life I had. I don't want to. Its not fair.

I have two questions. Once the methylone is completely finished, am I to expect withdrawal symptoms and if so, what would they be and how can I handle them. Advice greatly appreciated.

The second question is, of course, is there anything legal that I could use instead?

Despite the prolonged use of methylone, in small daily doses, it doesn't seem to have affected any of my prescribed meds and I recently had blood tests stating that my heart, liver and kidneys are healthy.

Confused or horrified

Rogue Robot - I'm new to the site so please forgive my ignorance. Are you advising the poster to overdose? Are you asking if the poster has overdosed already by the amount they have taken? Are you asking if the poster has taken other drugs? Are you asking if the poster wants other drug suggestions? Or maybe its something else. I hope you can clear up my confusion.

your post was really long... and i cant really give you any good advice...

Other then you are one of the few people able to get scripted GHB... you should do that.. it might not help you... but... yeah... its GHB... how could you go wrong?

the OP (original poster) posted in the anonymous section. the mod then moved his post to OD (hence, anonymous -> OD) which stands for the "Other Drugs" Forum.

Maybe try Nuvigil or Provigil?

Your pain management Dr. should be willing to hit you up with that kind of drug..

good luck

Provigil has a very low abuse potential....it doesnt always overcome my fatigue though, just gets rid of the brain fog and helps me focus with more clarity.
