Well first off iv noticed that the day after i take a 30mg Roxy (example ingested not snorted) I get a really stuffy and runny nose. Its real bad like all day my nose is stuffed and dripping. From my understanding am i correct to assume these are withdrawal symptoms? Its almost not even worth it to feel so shitty the day after. What effect does smoking pot while on oxy have?

It seems no matter what drug i take ( not pot) i always get this real anxious feeling and my heart begins to start beating real fast. Its like a switch in my head goes off and im always constantly thinking my about my heart and i start to get paranoid. I cant enjoy certain things because it always seems to happen. An hour after taking a 30mg roxy I smoked a bowl of green and 10min later my heart starts racing and I always have to walk around and tell myself ill be okay and to calm to down. It really does scare me sometimes. I only take 30mg-40mg at a time and never go over that dosage ever and have done it many times.

Stupid question but when someone stays in the dosage range for while is there still a risk of overdosing? I sometimes drink a lot off coffee when im on oxy (weird habit) and always smoke pot cause it seems to increase the buzz in a good way. Guess im just a super paranoid person ( phuking sux) and always try to stay safe and never go over my normal dosage. Thank you in advance for any replies and reading my post.

Cheers

first off, How long have you been doing the roxy at those doses? and when do you notice the symptoms you described? every time i snort a roxy 30mg i get a stuffy/ runny nose. But I cant help you with the pot thing, i dont smoke. but i do ingest mass amounts of caffeine and amphetamines. but maybe youre going through what a friend of mine went thru. he would smoke pot and what not, then he had one bad experience on it.. he had a panic attack and convinced himself that his brain changed. So I really dont know how the pot would fit into all of this. but yea, I just started banging cuz i was so sick of the nose thing. but it doesnt sound like youre withdrawing. imo

Sounds like you are developing dependence to oxy. The feelings you describe are the very tiny tip of the iceberg of addiction and withdrawal. Run while you can if you can. I got to where I couldn't even smoke anymore b/c of it, I finally got it under control, but now I'm an addict for life (I was far worse off when I realized it). Not the shoes you wanna get up and put on everyday if you can avoid it, I promise you.

Every time I insufflate ANYTHING, I get a really bad stuffy/runny nose the next day, (but i do also have awful seasonal allergies). I noticed that of all of the opiates that I do, roxicontin is the worst. The next day and maybe even for a day or two after that, I can't breathe out of my nose at all, and I've tried everything.

I've never experienced withdrawal symptoms to my knowledge and I'm almost 100% positive that this is just a side-effect of insufflating the roxicontin. It really is worse on my nose than the regular OC oxycontins, opana, vicodin or heroin.

Yeah, it doesn't sound exactly like withdrawal to me. I mean, it could be withdrawal, because everyone seems to have their own little quirky withdrawal symptoms... be it sneezing or whatever else, but my money would be on it being merely irritation of the nose.

I know that I've experienced similar symptoms the day after insufflating whatever, and I've noticed these symptoms especially with roxies. Withdrawal from opiates is more feeling nauseous, the restless legs, diarrhea, etc.

I have no nausea when in wd, I have never thrown up in wd. Me and my best friend both get runny noses, sneeze a lot, and start losing control of our body temp. I also have ungodly panic attacks, that are worsened by smoking pot. I stick to my theory :(

The same thing happens to me and my boyfriend. he'll get worried that maybe he took too much and he'll start eeling weird (i.e lightheadedness, blurry vision, extreme anxiety, labored breathing, and nodding) once i talk him down and convince him it's his anxiety it seems he starts to feel better. weed also always makes it worse for us. the more you think about it the worse it gets. you just have to keep telling yourself it's just anxiety and it will help.

You're experiencing panic attacks. I have the same thing, almost every time I smoke pot. I absolutely love my Mary Jane, and now I have been forced to quit because it was so bad. Oxy has only made my heard race a couple times, and it happened to be right after smoking pot too. I'm on a low dose benzodiazepine (clonazepam .25mg) to control it but I don't like mixing benzos and opiates and I much prefer oxy so I just deal with it.

Yea, I would feel like I was going to sieze up. My pupils would dilate enormously, it was like coming down the hill of a rollercoaster, forever.

"Guys! It might not be withdrawal at all! It could be that it's jus... jus... *sneeze* allergies!"

Thanks a lot for all the responses. Seems some people have the same experiences as me. Well i tried not smoking pot while on the ox and i actually enjoyed it more i think. I didn't get that much of a buzz because i had done it 3 days in a row and only had a couple pills left and didn't wanna use another. I don't take them very often as they don't come around that much. Stuffy nose never happens on percs or vics only ox, rox and morphine. I don't really get panic attacks on pot alone ( i have throughout the years but not much) only when mixed with other things. Im not a seasoned a opiate user by any means and always try and never go over my dose 30-40mg) even if im not buzzed to my satisfaction. I guess the pot sometimes increases the head buzz which i like but from now on ill try and refrain from not smoking.
