Fentanyl - dose unknown

So I went to the hospital about a month ago for severe stomach pain. (I've had stomach problems ever since I was born) anyway after I got into a room and they got an IV in me and everything they said they would give me some pain medication and I like to know what goes into me and whatnot so I asked what it was and they told me it was fentanyl which surprised me because its a pretty strong opioid. This was also my first IV administered opioid and even though I have done a fair amount of opiates I seem to never build much of a tolerance (probably because I take huge breaks and am very skinny and dont do very high doses ever) Anyway they told me about getting a head rush which I didnt expect would be much, but oh boy it was! I felt it almost instantly and was extremely euphoric. Like, the most euphoria i've ever had and felt the headrush again after they gave me a second dose that wasn't as much as the first but still enough for the head rush. Long story short I actually enjoyed my stay at the hospital and forgot about my stomach pain almost completely and had a lot of euphoria. Thats about it but if anyone has nursed or is a nurse or works in a hospital could you tell me the typical dose of fentanyl because id like to know how much they gave me or at least have an idea. Thanks

My guess would be 50-100mcg....they like to give it IV because it is very short lived giving it that way and they can get you out of ER to home quicker

And yes, I have worked in the ER as a RN
