Hey bl. recently, unwillingly and unfortunaley, i was forced on getting the vivitrol 30 day naltraxone injection. it was either move out or get the shot, and with no where to go, went with the shot. ive been battling opiate addiction for the 2 + years now, mostly IV herion. now i read that Bupe has a higher affinty then the naltraxone and will takes it place, will fentanyl and its high affinity work in the same way? any sort of input is appreciated. (btw im at day 15, half way their right!)

Mmmm, it would be dangerous to try to find out! Fentanyl is probably what would be used in an emergency for someone on the naltrexone shot...but even though bupe and fentanyl, probably a few others have a higher binding affinity, I would bet my money that the naltrexone would still partially block most of the "high"...Naltrexone partially blocks the high from more than just opiates, it's a real asshole of a drug IMO! Marijuana would be your best bet at this point in time IMO..
