Hey everyone!!! I am really sorry if I am posting this in the wrong area, but i a m really concerned and noticed this board has a lot of posts... I mixed a shot of dope at my boys house but his mom came busting in and i had to leave. anyways. this dope is really fuckin good and i dont wanna waste it. but i fell asmeep last night and woke up this morning (7 hrs later) and my rig has some stringy shit floating in it... can i just refilter and BANG??

i just need to know if it is safe for me to go ahead and take this hit?! or is that bacteria?? and if so is there anything i can do to make it safe to do???


i am sorry, and thank you... this is just my last hit and i dont wanna waste it, so do yall think id be good just filtering again? I mixed the shot cold last night at like 10

i would try to re filter it and if you don't see that shit floating in it anymore your probably ok

Re-filter it. You're taking a risk injecting it because once heroin has gone into solution it shouldn't be considered sterile any more.

The stringy shit was probably just dissolved particulate or resins/oils from the tar coagulating out.

Sek hit the nail on the head with that. Especially if the water you used wasnt sterile in the first place IE tap water. 7hrs is easily enough time for bacteria to culture in your rig. Please be careful with that in the future.

that 'stringy' shit could have easily been bacteria or fungus, too. i wouldn't ever do that.
