feeling pain

Yes.

Even though one of our consciousness' structures is the ability to filter out sensory information and other input of lesser or no importance: if you have a very painful injury and one that individually would cause a lesser degree of pain, your brain may ignore the lesser injury until the more serious one is dealt with; On the other hand, if you were to fall down a flight of stairs you would probably bump your head and extremities and will be aware of most of the injuries simultaneously.

To answer your question OP yes. Whenever I over exert muscles while working out almost my entire body hurts depending on the severity of my workout. Is there something you need help with? Would you mind posting more information as to any problems you might be experiencing at the moment so we can provide you with answers?

test it out, hold one hand on the stove and dip your foot into a pot of boiling water

You can experience pain in parts of your body that you don't even possess, ie phantom limb syndrome and the like. Pain is a strange and tricky thing.
