Opioids Feeling other opiates while on a low dose of bupe?!(please read)

So for the past week I have been shooting my suboxone at doses of 1mg or under I think(it's about the size but smaller than an equal eithgth of a strip,so 1mg or under) once a day. Usually I would just take it sublinngualy like im suppose to, anyway when I would do this I would go through sooo many Roxi's from not waiting long enough and just getting a minor buzz and by the time I could REALLY start feeling the oxy again I would almost be out of em',anyway it would usually take 2 day of me to feel the oxy when I was taking it under the tounge. The other day I just said fuck it and did some the same day I proly shot like under a MG or a MG of subs and did 120mg that night half snorted other half I'vd. Today, I just did a tiny piece off that I'm guesing was under a MG of IV suboxone had two roxi's that I was planning to save for 2morro, anyway couldn't wait and shot both of them and was thinking "I know I just wasted these" then all of the sudden I got that rush I use to get from them(i know its debateable but I get an enjoyalble rush from oxy) before I got on subs. Just happened and wondered if anyone else has expericed this while I'vg or taking small amounts under the tounge??
 
I never had difficulty feeling effects from opiates after sub-2mg doses of buprenorphine weather IV or SL. Although sometimes I feel like there is a slight diminished feeling of the opiate, but that's usually if the bupe was IVd within 8 hours of doing the opiate.

If anything I would think the higher bioavailability of IVing would cause more of a blocking effect, but your feeling the opposite so maybe it has to do with the decreased duration of the IV bupe.
 
Yea ive never really had difficulty getting high while on 8+ mgs of suboxone. The first shot I do will ussually feel weaker than it should but after I do that first shot and it breakes thru the naloxone and afterwards the rest of the dblock that i do feels as if i never took the suboxone in the first place. Ive taken up to 20mgs of suboxone and then maybe 20 minutes later came across some dblock and shot it and had it feel like i never took any subs. Heroin also breaks thru the naloxone like no ones buisness so im assuming it wouldnt work as good with roxys or anything other than dblock. I wont get sick in a situation like that either unless i were to shoot my dblock and then take the suboxone. I can take my suboxone first and then shoot as much diesel as i want and never get sick.
 
^ yeah but it's not the Naloxone causing the blocking effect man. It's the buprenorphine itself due to its very high binding affinity to the opiate receptors.
 
Okay, I just thought I might be going crazy because I lost 2 units of it and got a suprise "whoa" feeling and sudden happiness, ya know the deal. I'm kicking myself for doing it though, was suppose to be for today but I don't feel sick suprisingly?? What exactly is the half-life of IV Bupe? I keep seeing different numbers..
 
Pretty sure the half life doesn't change based on the ROA, but the duration that you can feel the effects does which is why one would feel withdrawals creep in a little faster when it comes to the IV bupe.

That's what I've always read.
 
Yea I shoot my suboxone tablets I live in Canada so we get the white stop sign pills in 8 mg and 2 mgs still I've never seen a strip is it true you can iv them easier?? But I do know shooting them it only lasts me around 6 hours then after 12 I get runny nose and sensitive to cold now I'm no scientist of course only a junkie but I'm fairly certain shooting it decreases the half life by around half not sure why tho you would think it would last longer like when iving other drugs such as heroin. Now I find everybody's different but it seems when you take bupe via injection you can feel other opiates much sooner I've done 2 mgs via injection at 630 am before work then drove down to the dope spot and got high on heroin on my lunch break but if I put under tounge I would have to wait till midnight or the next day even. I can still feel down after subs and get pain relief if I keep it to 2 mgs and under but its not a good high its basically like taking more bupe until it wears off completely. I remember when my doc started me on 16 mgs uhhhh way too much I could not feel any other opiates at all for 3 days but my biddy took 20 mgs and could feel dope the next morning so everybody's different we all process things different I mean I have such a fast metabolism that I can take a sub 3 hours after shooting dope and I won't go into precipitated withdrawal but I know a guy that waited 24 hours and went straight into precipitated w/D's and got deathly I'll all day long.
 
Buprenorphine affects every one differently, some people can get high right after taking it even in large doses. Some people get all they're receptors blocked off of a tiny dose, there's no set standard on wether you'll feel you DOC while on bupe or not.

True. But, with the majority it people, it's pretty fair to say that the lower your dose of bupe, the better chance you have of feeling an opiate, and vice versa with high doses. But yes, some people can use and get high on a fairly high dose of bupe, when others are totally blocked and can't feel shit on a lower dose.
 
I was on suboxone for 5yrs, and I still managed to get high off opiates the same day I took bupe. Usually if I only take 4mg of bupe a day I can feel other opiates given I don't dose right after, over hours and hours I mean. Usually once u take an 8mg sub, you will feel opiates at a minimum. However one time I took my daily 2 films at 6am, bought 3 bags of dope with intent to save to the next day, but couldn't help myself. I banged the 3 bags and got so damn high I swear if I hadn't of taken the 2 films that morning I probably would of overdosed. Generally if you don't take more than half a sub in a day u can get away with feeling opiates effects...however i think oxycodone or oxymorph, same with the hydro family are the only ones I feel get reduced to nothing and blockage, if taking subs. Usually the next day suboxone free I can feel all effects even if taking 3subs a day and stopping, just as long as it's spaced out 24hrs...my experience
