FDA On Removing Vicodin, Percocet From Market & Limiting APAP: Merged Thread

Wow this is really quite interesting. Perhaps they'll just yank all the APAP/ibuprofen out of all the pills and just Rx em as opioid only preperations. What happens to C-III then?!

Hmmm, I doubt this will ever happen soon, if at all... just seems like a big production...

I hope you don't mean phenylephrine

No kidding, phenylephrine is the biggest bunch of crap ever invented. Completely useless. Now, I get to be treated like a criminal when I have to go buy Zyrtec-D for my chronic allergies. It must be what chronic pain patients feel like when they're filling Oxy 80 scripts or something

What it sounds like to me, is an opportunity for alot of people to make a lot of money. New anti-abuse formulations and adulterants will be used in, of course, name-brand, high cost forms. Meanwhile, anyone else that can't afford it will be using tramadol or codeine with ibuprofen. I personally think that everyone will just switch over to ibuprofen at first.
