Raritan Pharmaceuticals, a contract manufacturer for Homeolab USA, is voluntarily recalling homeopathic products containing belladonna extract because of the potential for variation in the extract content, a US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) MedWatch alert issued today notes.

"The FDA has tested some products and recovered varying levels of belladonna extract content from what is declared on the label," the FDA alert said.

Raritan Pharmaceuticals is a contract manufacturer of these products for Homeolab USA, which supplies the belladonna blends to Raritan Pharmaceuticals, the statement notes.

The homeopathic products have a very small amount of belladonna, which can cause harm at larger doses, the announcement from Raritan said. "The company is voluntarily recalling the product out of an abundance of caution," they add.

This made me lol.
Belladonna in homeopathy, which is supposed to NOT have any molecular remains of a chemical in the "medicine"?
They found the drug that they are not supposed to have in the drug that they are selling...
Belladonna inside the "belladonna"?!
Better recall it.

Not sure where FDA screwed up here. I have a negative opinion of homeopathy in general but the drugstore stuff is complete trash. Wish they mentioned just how much belladona was found, but one less waste of money product on the shelf is ok by me.
