my fav speedball I called my "hell in a handbasket combo", it involved 10mg d-methamphetamine hcl and 4mg hydromorphone hcl nasally within a minute of waking up in the morning. Followed by oxycodone as the day wore on and the meth wore off.

On the subject of IV meth, I've heard that it actually isn't that great and that smoking it is much better. If so, wouldn't it make more sense to smoke a meth/heroin combo than to shoot it? I can say that the rush from smoking heroin (if done properly) isn't that much different from IV except that you have to use a hell of alot more, so I think it would be a good move to smoke a meth/heroin "speedball" rather than to shoot it (aside from the economic issues).

Then again I've never tried it and have no idea what I'm talking about. Has anyone done this? And is smoking meth really better than banging it? I've read a few studies that say that smoking meth is more addictive and reinforcing than IV, and that peak plasma concentrations are higher and occur faster.

One more thing, has anyone tried shooting crack and dillies in the same rig?? This has been in my head alot lately, and it seems this would be the "holy grail" of speedballs, aside from maybe crack/oxymorphone.

Damn it, I need to stop thinking about this speedball shit. I've chilled with the opioids lately while getting out of control with the coke (again, *sigh*), and all this talk of speedballs is tempting me to do bad things.

Banging meth is much more potent than smoking it.

Shooting heroin is much more potent and quicker acting than smoking

I can't imagine smoking the two together would be any great compared to a speedball, the idea of a 'speed'ball is that it hits you hard and quick (hence ""speed""ball).

Ive only had redneck speedball (meth + OxyContin), never tryed (coke + heroin) maybe i would be more impressed.

Well the high is better, but much shorter... Plus i think good glass is so pretty when its melted in a tube and you get a killer hit and it taste sooo fuckin great.

Shooting meth is a lot more stronger then smoking...

I've shot a heroin + meth speedball a few times. Usually 1/2 point (50mg) of white rock no.4 with a point (100mg) of "ice", good quality crystal.

Coke upregulates the mu opioid receptor, thus the power of the speedball. Other stimulants don't, AFAIK, do that.

I agree that the term 'speedball' refers only to IV "H" + Coke. But as far as favorite stimulant/depressant combo - I would definitely say that it would be methamphetamine combined with GHB.
