Well, I was thinking about this the other day. Why do you like opiates the most? Of course, those of us who do love them, love EVERY part of them ;). But there has to be a favorite. Is it the itches that make you so excited? The rushes? The nods? Those crazy opiate dream-states? The body high?

Opiates are quite complicated and have a lot of side-effects. Personally, I am all about those opiate dreams. Drifting in and out of conciousness, while thoughts that make ABSOLUTELY no sense are coming and going.

If this doesn't deserve a topic sorry, just thought it would be interesting to hear some answers =D

As said above, the euphoria and warmth for sure, but my absolute favorite part is dosing a few hours before getting into bed and NODDING all night long :)

^This. I also enjoy mellow electronic music and a few candles. Does wonders for relieving my stress.

^ Mmm candles sounds good as long as you don't nod out and burn everything down! :D

Haha that reminds me of a time I went to moms when I was 17.
She had just moved into an enormous house and lived by herself. I went rummaging around hoping to find some opies and sure enough I came across (4) 5/325 hydrocodones (they were years old, wouldn't have took them if she needed them) and I also found a bottle of promethazine 25 mg pills. I took two of them to see how they worked with the hydrocodone, having read that they can potentate opiates.

She had something like 30 candles set around the huge living room and I lit them all and took the pills. I was just chillin on the couch and ended up nodding away. I believe it was the promethazine, it was very sedating.

I forgot to mention my mom was away from the house that night.

Luckily nothing caught fire, but the house smelt burnt when I woke up.

Anyway, I enjoy everything about opiates, the ones I've tried anyway (hydrocodone, hydromorphone)
I couldn't decide on one effect I love them all. I've only done them about a dozen times but its always been fantastic.
Just got my hands on 30 mg hcodone so ill be floating tonight.

Kind of a silly question with a predictable answer: THE GETTING HIGH PART.

How about withdrawals? Anyone?

Maybe change the title of this thread to aside from getting you high, what do you like most about opiates? That's actually an interesting question we would all have to think about.

I love the warmth, I always think of it like there's a jacuzzi running through my veins or something. I also love the sense of distance it gives me, like I'm in the world but not of it. I Enjoy the nodding and vivid dream states when the time is right, usually at night listening to music.

No other class of drugs gives me that "everything is going to be alright" feeling like opiates. I also love how I can still think coherently and function on them as long as I don't over do it. When they hit me just right it's like I'm having an hours long orgasm that spreads throughout my entire body.

Hate the withdrawals and constipation though.

i love the warmness and the nods i also love the amazing out of body feeling and my all time favorite is the euphoria fursure. it just feels like you love everyone. wish i had some right now..

The trick here is JAR CANDLES! I don't use any other kind...as long as they are on a sturdy surface and don't have anything that can catch fire hanging over them...if you fall asleep with one going, it'll just keep burning into liquid and then eventually go out...no danger of burning the house down :D My suggestion anyway.

@thread: I like the sedating feeling opiates give me...also, their pain relieving properties.

Definitely the rush from IV.

The feeling everything is going to be okay, opiates basically make my unhappy thoughts disperse. It's like being at the top of your game, being your very best, feeling your best, etc.

Opiates are godly

Definitely jar candles..best way to go. I also agree with the sedating feeling, calms me down and relieves my anxiety.
