Whats up BL....
I was wondering have any of you ever induced "V-TACH" (Ventricular Tachycardia) from drug use? Doesn't matter what substance. Some of you may know it's an extremely dangerous/potentially life threatening heart arrhythmia. I only ask because last year I had a very traumatic episode due to mixing .6 of crystal & about a .2 of Heroin ROA's include intranasal dosing the crystal and smoking dosing the H..
Don't wanna make this to long, to describe my mindstate at the time, I was sleep deprived about 72 hours consistently dosing speed up until the time, also hadn't ate anything whatsoever since I began the binge. As the 3rd day approached my dopamine was pretty much drained, I did the whole .6 of crystal within a 30 minute time frame attempting to feel some type of euphoria but my brain wasn't having it...
All I felt was a stage of overstimulation and near psychosis paranoia. Started to hear voices outside etc so since I wasn't getting any positive effects at all, I decided to smoke about a .2 of heroin I had left over at an attempt to just comedown and go to sleep.
WELL I basically smoked all the H on top of the speed I had did already and within I'd say 15-20minutes? I began to notice my breathing getting shallow and horrible chest pains/tightening. As it is I've been diagnosed with an Anxiety disorder so in my mind I thought it was nothing more than a panic attack...IT WASN'T Paramedics arrived shortly after i called 911, turns out my heart wa fluttering causing my heart rate to go anywhere from 170-185bpm and drop to 40-50bpm practically every 7 seconds it would flutter....I literally felt my ventricles tighten in my chest it was absolutely fucking terrifying! Luckily once I got to the ER, MD's told me I had a severe episode of VTACH caused by drug use and by their reports if I hadn't of received medical attention as quickly as I did, they said maybe 15-20 minutes later and I would have gone into sudden cardiac arrest and died...adding to my discharge report "you have a significant chance of dying if it happens again"
Anyway my fellow BLighters, have any of you ever experienced VTACH? Or other dangerous heart arrhythmias? Mind you I was only 20 Yrs old at the time with no preexisting heart conditions. I am personally very educated regarding my substance abuse and dont generally mix uppers and downers but guess I got a little carried away you could say...but yeah all thoughts/opinions are welcome THANKS!!
