i don't have a single player from last year (i won my league) but i feel that i drafted reasonably well and i'm excited for the upcoming season.

our league starts: QB, WR, WR, WR, RB, RB, TE, WR/RB/TE, K, D

My line-up:

eli manning
greg jennings
hakeem nicks
brandon lloyd
darren mcfadden
demarco murray
tony gonzalez
rashad jennings
sebastian janikowski
chicago

bench:
benjarvus green-ellis
donald brown
denarius moore
nate washington
titus young
new england

how about you?

looking forward to heated discussions on sit-or-start, etc.

You forgot the most important factor in judging the quality of your draft, the number of managers in your league. Based on your draft im going to guess its a 12 man+.

The only guys on your bench that i like are Titus Young and maybe law firm. Rashad Jennings could be a solid guy if MJD keeps holding out. I think old man Gonzales is going to have a bad year. And there are question marks attached to Murray, McFadden and Lloyd, but all have very high ceilings.

Its really too early to tell. If McFadden stays healthy he will be a beast but thats a big if.

Ill add my 10 man draft. League is 1QB 3WR 2RB 1TE K D

Starters

Phillip Rivers
Larry Fitzgerald
Steve Smith (Carolina)
Mike Wallace
Ray Rice
Trent Richardson
Fred Davis
Chicago
Alex Henry

Bench
Vincent Jackson
Torrey Smith
Michael Bush
Toby Gerhart
Sidney Rice
Matt Schaub

^ nice.

my league is 10 managers. i was picking 7th. all my friends are te crazy so, by the time i gt to pick a te, he was the best of what was left. available guys are heath miller and dallas clark and i think he's a better option than both of those...

crossing my fingers that mjd keeps holding out - my opponent in week 1 has him :)

Yea, Jennings could end up taking over as a RB 2 for you if MJD holds out.

Not gonna lie there are 2 or 3 managers in my league that arent as into it as the rest of us, which is why my draft turned out so good (IMHO). Tim Tebow got taken in the third round........ lmao.

If Richardson is healthy my team will be beast this year. And I have Vincent Jackson on my bench, who is a WR2 or WR3 in most leagues.

I dont see the point in getting NE defense when you have chicago, holding 2 defenses limits your bench. I guess you just need some sort of NE presence on your team eh?

i've got first pick in two keeper league, non-PPR

my keepers are andre johnson and stafford

i've got first pick here's who i am considering:
roddy white, brandon marshall and darren mcfadden

who would you take?

i'm really hoping to get eric decker with my 2nd pick, i doubt he'll fall that far

not only cause he's a gopher grad, but i feel like he will be good for 10 TDs this year, manning seems to like him a lot

Depends on the format for your league CR, but of those three I would roll the dice on McFadden. He is seriously the most dynamic rusher in the whole league when healthy and if he can somehow put a full season together he could carry you to a championship. White and Marshall are kind of a wash but if i had to chose id go with White.

And yes I agree, Decker has insane upside this year.

Im not too hot on Johnson though. He is solid when healthy but his non-contact injury last season worries me.

I think Jamaal Charles is going to have a good year and might be available in later rounds

not that you guys give a shit, but just got back from my draft and honestly i love my starting line up for week 1:
qb:stafford
rb: mcfadden
te: pettigrew
w/rb:andre johnson
w/rb: eric decker
wr/rb: stevie johnson
wr/te: antonio brown

individual defense(can start 3)
james larinautis
brian cushing
karlos dansby
von miller
stephen tulloch

relevent bench:
michael bush
malcolm flyod
matt schaub

it's gonna be a bitch to decide who starts on D, besides larinautis, not sure who to start each week

^ Your top 2 picks are beast, but both MCFadden and Stafford are very breakable. If your team stays healthy youre solid........... if......

malcom floyd is not relevant

interesting format....... all flex spots, I hope its PPR or teams with a bunch of elite RB's will steamroll you

my first pick was mcfadden, i had first pick, than my next two picks (last pick in technically round 4 and first pick in round 5) were decker and pettigrew

anyone can get injured on any given night(specially rbs and qbs), it's all coincidental, just cause someone has a history of getting injured doesn't mean jack, they just got unlucky

its non PPR

rbs just are not what they used to be come fantasy, outside of a guys like foster, peterson, chris johnson, rice, forte and mccoy...maybe even mcfadden in that mix, dude is a beast if he can stay healthy, for good measures i took both backup rbs from oakland(goodson and reese), so i will always have someone to start at rb

malcolm flloyd is a pretty damn good talent, he just might get lost in the shuffle on that team, on any given night he could have a huge game, always a deep threat

i hate that kickers are even a roster spot, i wanted to vote them out, it's so lame that a kicker can score over 15 points...a fucking kicker should not play a significant rolein the outcome of a game, whatever....i took rams rookie kicker that came out of a D3 school....dude kicked at least 5 50+ yarders in pre-season, including a 59 yarder last game....the fact the rams will prob have a poor red zone offense and they play in a dome and they are my team explains why i took him, his name is greg zuerlein, hopfully he'll be a household name one day and hav a successful tenure similar to jeff wilkins

floyd should be good since vincent jackson is gone.

heres my money league fantasy team. would normally have willis mcgahee as rb/wr but hes playing steelers rush D. Also, i think Torrey Smith is gonna have a beastly year dont be surprised.

Honestly, I hope Flloyd does well since Rivers is my QB. I just dont see it happening. I see him as a late round guy.

torrey smith blew up last year thanks to rams' like 5th cb justin king who was cut by team in the off season cause he sucked

not saying he isn't a decent receiver, but i can't see more than 7-8 tds this year

I like Torrey Smith, I took him in late rounds in multiple leagues this year. Flacco may not be a great fantasy QB but that doesnt mean he cant have a good fantasy receiver on his team.

ok, my receivers are:

hakeem nicks
greg jennings
brandon lloyd
nate washington
titus young

have to start 3. i'm thinking: nicks; jennings; washington.

is there a good argument to sit nicks this week and start young?

i'll feel miserable when brady goes off and brandon lloyd is sitting on my bench...
