Fake pill but turned black?

I have a few fake pills, that i know that are fake from pillreports and i tried them my self and felt nothing. it actually has nothing inside and tastes not like X, more like chalk. So my tester arrived and with marquis it turned dark blue then black very fast. How come? would there be a very limited amount of X? I had 5 of these and nothing.

Maybe they just coat the outside of the pill with mdma so that when u scrape sum off it will test good? Sounds like a long way to go for a fake though. I dont even know how pressing sumthing like that would work. There have been strange sandwhich pills before though like the green ones if you scroll down here http://www.thedea.org/ But thats still very different from what I'm thinking of, and also very strange. Did u try testing from different parts of the pill? It's bunk anyways might as well break it up and test it and see if different parts of it cause different results.

Did these "fake" pills have any smell? Just wondering becuause I've heard reports (although I can't confirm if it's true or not) that saffaras oil or safrol/isosafrol may be added to pills to give a positive reaction with marquis reagent.

Safrol and (I'm pretty sure sassafras oil too) has that strange sweet smell that some people describe as "aniseed like" smell. Some uneducated people think it is the smell of MDMA whereis in reallity pure MDMA has no real smell.

Anyway bottom line is its all the more reason to at least use a Mandelin tester as well as Marquis. Personally I use Simons, Robadope, and Mecke as well. Us BlueLighters get a special discount --35 Euro for all 5 reagents which including shipping anywhere in the world. That worked out to about 60 Australian.
