Fake oxy pill , need to be sure.

A friend of a friend of mine got handed a small tan colored pill that was supposed to be 40mg oxy, but all it has is a black 40 printed on one side in ink (printed not pressed) and that's it.
What could it be ? Anyone seen this stuff before ? It's the same size and color of an oxy though.
 
There's no way of knowing...we don't do substance IDs here anyway.

There are some fake oxycodone pills around, but there's no way of knowing what you've got. If you do a Google search for the imprint and it doesn't come up with anything conclusive...you can probably bet that it is fake...but again, there's no way of knowing either way.

I'm going to have to close this thread because it is in violation of our no substance ID/no pill ID policy.
