Fake Molly/MDMA?

Today SWIM and their friend scored what they thought was nearly pure MDMA. It looked a bit like brown sugar. SWIM had molly that looked just like this and it got him rolling quite nicely. When it was taken they eventually found out it wasn't mdma. They said it felt like they were slightly weighed down, and loud, abrupt noises would exite them in a way that would feel like a electric jolt going through their body for half a second. They also felt very disconnected and just felt like not moving. What do you guys think that chemical would be?

We have no way of knowing, in the future use a test kit to avoid this. Dancesafe.org provides full reagents so you avoid this in the future, we do not allow "what did I take/what happened?" threads as speculation never leads to a safe resolution.

We also do not allow "SWIM" acronyms as it is in no way a genuine form of avoiding incrimination, and it's honestly just stupid and silly.

Unfortunately, in the world of MDMA there is a huge market for passing off cheaper easier to access chemicals as MDMA quite often- piperazines, PMA, and DXM are some of the common ones, and they are all quite disappointing if not devastating.
